I Dream Dance

I dream dance

not to know

myself

but to find you,

there beyond

the dark tress

and past

the silver, settling

pond.

Now in the morning

I sleep alone.

Once you knew

there was a chance

bright as this new

morning.

But I wandered ever so

lonely as a that cloud

across our glamorous landscape.

I see you in nightshades

and languid thoughts

of quiet still moments,

here on this stark page

through to where you

roam.
